Giving Back
A considerable part of Dr. Angela’s free time goes to supporting nonprofits that focus on nutrition and education. She serves on the Board of Directors for Project Somos Children’s Village in Guatemala, where she also travels annually to adjust the children and staff of the school. Her nonprofit, Children’s Health Advocacy International (CHAI) also serves as the fiscal sponsor for the student food pantries of the Baraboo School District. If you want more information to volunteer or donate to either of these efforts to feed and support children, email Dr. Angela here.

A Global Mission
Her love of travel, chiropractic care, and her expertise in pediatric and newborn spinal adjusting led Dr. Angela to volunteer in challenged communities in Kenya and Guatemala, including rural schools, orphanages, field clinics in tribal communities, and premie wards in remote hospitals. Helping others experience health naturally has been gratifying.
The Practice Today
At Gateway Wellness Center, Dr. Angela offers a wide range of services to support and maximize your health potential. Excellent spinal care, nutritional counseling and weight loss are all natural and drug-free ways to create health from within.
At Home
Dr. Angela lives in the beautiful Baraboo area and spends most of her free time with her children and her pets. She and the kids especially enjoy concerts and music festivals, and love to to explore farm-to-table restaurants and eat great food, whether cooking it or going out to find it. Other pastimes include hiking the Driftless region with Phoebe, Otis and Benny, yoga classes, and planning her next trip.
Phoebe
Phoebe is a terrier mix, rescued in 2020, so she’s our Covid puppy. She’s all about love. She’s the sweetest, chillest pup ever, and she makes our waiting area the BEST place to hang out. Occasional free ear cleaning as an add-on bonus.
Otis
Otis is a Teddy Bear (Bichon Shitzu mix) who came to us as a rescue in March of 2023. He’s still learning to trust, but he’s come a LONG way, and enjoys the interactions he has in the office. Otis has been a welcome, if sometimes loud, addition to the reception team.
Benny
Benny is the resident senior, turning 15 in 2023. He’ll be your snuggler if you pick him up. He especially loves the little babies, and will deliberately sit within reach of grabby little hands. He’s a Bichon Poodle mix, and another rescue. He’s been a cherished part of our family and office life since 2011.
